The ecological restoration of hard river revetment and bottom has already become one of current research hot spots and difficulties in the ecological restoration of urban rivers in China. Taking Nanjing Youyi River as an example, the ecological restoration methods of hard river bottom are analyzed, and the design essentials of aeration equipment, artificial floating beds and submerged plants are discussed, which can provide the scientific and reasonable basis and suggestions for the similar river ecological restoration projects.
