Abstract:In order to study and compare the influence of self-developed AH-1 warm mixing agent on the pavement performance of SBS modified asphalt, and compare the pavement performance differences between AH-1 and Sasobit with different dosage, the penetration, ductility and softening point of asphalt were tested by conventional asphalt performance test, through asphalt rotary viscosity test and variable temperature compaction Marshall test. The optimum forming temperature is determined by testing, and the optimum forming temperature is determined according to the specifications.According to the optimum mixing and forming temperature, the SMA-13 mixture was made into Marshall specimens and the indexes were determined. The results show that the addition of AH-1 and Sasobit increases the softening point and reduces the ductility and penetration of SBS modified asphalt; the mixing temperature of 4% AH-1 is 25 degrees lower than that of ordinary hot mix asphalt mixture, and the cooling effect is better than that of sasobit; AH-1 increases the high temperature performance of asphalt mixture and reduces the low temperature and water stability of mixture. However, it still meets the standard requirements.
