《中华人民共和国政府和美利坚合众国政府海运协定》在中国国务院总理温家宝正式访问美国期间,于2003年12月8日由中国交通部部长张春贤与美国运输部部长梅内特在华盛顿正式签署。至此,自两国上一个海运协定于1998年到期后,经过双方在5年多时间中的多轮会谈,终于以双方均感满意的结果暂告一段落。双方对中美达成的新海运协定给予了高度评价,认为它将在两国海运关系历史上产生深远影响,因而具有重大意义。 相似文献

3月31日.中国与欧盟在布鲁塞尔签署了关于《中欧海运协定》适用于保加利亚和罗马尼亚的修改议定书。这一议定书的签署标志着《中欧海运协定》欧盟一方的适用范围扩大到全部27个成员国。交通运输部李盛霖部长在签字仪式上表示,中欧双方互为重要的贸易伙伴,双方高度重视双边海运关系。2002年《中欧海运协定》签署以来,双方在海运领域成功开展了合作。当前,随着金融危机的快速蔓延和世界经济的减速,国际海运业普遍受到沉重打击.中欧之间的海运贸易也同样未能幸免。面对当前国际海运形势的变化,中方愿与欧方一道.采取有效措施,共同应对危机与挑战。为双边贸易提供稳定可靠的海上运输保障。 相似文献

印度尼西亚政府和中华人民共和国政府5日签署了两国海运协定和交通领域技术合作谅解备忘录。这两个文件的签署标志着两国海运关系的恢复。印尼交通部长阿古姆·古梅拉尔和来访的中国交通部长黄镇东代表各自国家政府在协定和谅解备忘录上签字。 根据上述两个文件,印尼和中国将促进两国在海运领域的合作,提高海运效率。双方同意在平等和互利的基础上开展公路、水路运输领域的合作与交流。印尼总统瓦希德当天会见了黄镇东一行。瓦希德说,发展海运是印尼国家经济发展的基础。印尼过去同中国在这个方面的合作还不够,今后要大力加强同外国、特别是中国的合作。黄镇东表示.印尼市场潜力很大,资源丰富,两国在海运领域的合作空间很大。 相似文献

This paper is an attempt to illustrate the stance of the Soviet Union in the law of the sea debate in the light of Soviet ocean activities. The paper has two sections. First, it examines the range of Soviet ocean activities. The considerable extent of Soviet ocean use underscores the importance which the Soviet Union places on the law of the sea debate and its consequent active participation in the process of international negotiation. Second, the paper considers the published record of the Soviet Union in the United Nations seabed debate. In seven years of debate the United Nations General Assembly and the Ad Hoc and permanent Seabed Commities and sub-Commities have generated a considerable body of documantation reflecting the public policy of over one hundred States concerning the law of the sea. Soviet expressions of opinion alone cover more than five hundred pages of documentation. Specific Soviet positions can be considered within two ganeral preferences: the protection of traditional freedoms of the high seas and opposition to ocean control by either coastal States or by an independent international ocean authority. The paper shows how these preferences and the specific Soviet negotiating positions defend and promote the maritime interests of the Soviet Union. 相似文献

Personal history
I began my career with Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) upon graduation from Kyoto University in 1967. During my 38-year career at the company, I have been involved in a broadrange of maritime activities, and have witnessed dramaticchanges in the industry as it has sought to meet the changingneeds of societies and the globalization of economies. Keyevents in my career include a posting to Mitsui O.S.K. Lines'San Francisco Representative Office from 1975 to 1979;becoming a staff officer of the Planning Division in 1987,followed by a promotion to Deputy General Manager of theDivision in 1988; appointment as General Manager of Europeand Oceania Division in 1993; being elected to a directorshipin 1996; promotion to Managing Director in 1998, SeniorManaging Director in 2000, Deputy President in 2003, andfinally President in 2004. For me, the shipping industry isboth a business and a passion. I am extremely excited aboutthe changes and challenges that lie ahead for the industry aswe begin the 21st Century, and consider myself to be in amost enviable position leading Mitsui O.S.K.
