A Self-Encryption Remote User Anonymous Authentication Scheme Usina Smart Cards

Remote user authentication is essential in distributed network environment to protect unauthorized access of a networked system. However, most of those existing remote user authentication schemes have not provided the user identity anonymity, while user anonymity is particularly important in some practical applications. Therefore, based on self-encryption mechanism, a new remote user authentication scheme was proposed. The scheme not only has no need of maintaining a password table at the remote server, but also can protect the user＇s anonymity.

A new self-healing key distribution scheme was proposed, which is optimal in terms of user memory storage and efficient in terms of communication complexity.     

An Investigation into Regenerative Braking Control Strategy for Hybrid Electric Vehicle

Energy regeneration during braking is an important technique for hybrid electric vehicle （HEV） to improve their fuel economy and extend their driving range. Due to the effect of regenerative braking torque which is added by electric motor, the braking torque distribution between front and rear axles should be changed and the control logic of anti-lock braking system （ABS） ought to be adjusted according to the regenerative braking torque. This paper put forward a braking control strategy for hybrid electric vehicle; the control strategy is implemented with eight DOFs （Degree-of-Freedom） nonlinear vehicle forward simulation model which is built under the environment of Matlab/Simulink. Based on target wheel slip ratio, a fuzzy logic approach was applied to maintain the optimal target slip ratio so that best compromise between hydraulic torque and regenerative torque can be obtained for the vehicle.

Improvements on Analytical Models for IEEE 802.11e EDCF Differential Services

Zhu introduced typical analytical models to simulate the 802. 11e EDCF channel access protocol. But our analysis indicates that there are some inaccurate derivations in his presentation. This paper intends to improve analytical model with some corrections. Furthermore, for the probability of the channel being busy pb in Zhu＇s model, different points and analysis method are proposed. When the network is under saturation condition, the new results about the probabilities of collision and channel busy, transmission probabilities, successful transmission probabilities, throughput and MAC layer latency are presented.
