Interaction of vehicle and steering system regarding on-centre handling   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
For the on-centre handling behaviour of vehicles the steering system is absolutely important. To investigate the interaction of the vehicle and steering system a validated, especially tailored simulation model was developed. Some meaningful vehicle and steering system parameters are altered to show the influence on steering wheel torque, steering feel and understeer. The results underline the importance of an accurate steering system model. Identified measures to improve the centre feel and steering response were a stiffer torsion bar, a higher cornering stiffness or a lower overall steering ratio. The steering response, however, suffers when the centre feel is improved by a higher trail. The steering rack friction reduces mainly the steering response while the steering column friction decreases the centre feel whereas a stiffer torsion bar lessens the understeer tendency.  相似文献

Abstract

This paper investigates how air passengers’ expectations, ticket price, airline service quality, value, passenger satisfaction and airline image determine their buying behaviour. To test the conceptual frameworks, path analysis was applied to data collected from Korean and Australian international passengers to examine differences between these two groups. Further analyses were undertaken on different passenger segments between national and foreign airline passengers. The results of the path analysis reveal that air passengers’ buying behaviour differs significantly between Korean and Australian international passengers. Results also reveal that the determinants of air passengers’ buying behaviour differ by airlines.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The information-rich vessel movement data provided by the Automatic Identification System (AIS) has gained much popularity over the past decade, during which the employment of satellite-based receivers has enabled wide coverage and improved data quality. The application of AIS data has developed from simply navigation-oriented research to now include trade flow estimation, emission accounting, and vessel performance monitoring. The AIS now provides high frequency, real-time positioning and sailing patterns for almost the whole world's commercial fleet, and therefore, in combination with supplementary databases and analyses, AIS data has arguably kickstarted the era of digitisation in the shipping industry. In this study, we conduct a comprehensive review of the literature regarding AIS applications by dividing it into three development stages, namely, basic application, extended application, and advanced application. Each stage contains two to three application fields, and in total we identified seven application fields, including (1) AIS data mining, (2) navigation safety, (3) ship behaviour analysis, (4) environmental evaluation, (5) trade analysis, (6) ship and port performance, and (7) Arctic shipping. We found that the original application of AIS data to navigation safety has, with the improvement of data accessibility, evolved into diverse applications in various directions. Moreover, we summarised the major methodologies in the literature into four categories, these being (1) data processing and mining, (2) index measurement, (3) causality analysis, and (4) operational research. Undoubtedly, the applications of AIS data will be further expanded in the foreseeable future. This will not only provide a more comprehensive understanding of voyage performance and allow researchers to examine shipping market dynamics from the micro level, but also the abundance of AIS data may also open up the rather opaque aspect of how shipping companies release information to external authorities, including the International Maritime Organization, port states, scientists and researchers. It is expected that more multi-disciplinary AIS studies will emerge in the coming years. We believe that this study will shed further light on the future development of AIS studies.  相似文献

Using a data-set collected among paratransit users in Bandung, Indonesia, this paper explores the impacts of paratransit users' negative experiences and dissatisfactions with their paratransit usage pattern. Segmentation and ordered probit analyses are used to examine the impacts of users' opinions on service quality on their trip-making behaviour. The results indicate that users are divided into six segments – namely, the unlucky, the young user, the experienced, the adapter, the infrequent user and the captive. The results further indicate that paratransit users, especially women, perceive negative experiences related to on-time performance (departure and arrival time) and security issues related to vehicles. Despite these dissatisfactions and negative experiences, they are still likely to use paratransit as part of their daily life. Two paratransit market segments (the adapter and the captive) are also likely to result in more trips using paratransit. The study offers several strategies and recommendations that can improve the current paratransit system so that it can better serve local needs.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The paper presents an innovative method for a lap time minimisation by using genetic algorithms for a multi objective optimisation of a race driver–vehicle model. The decision variables consist of 16 parameters responsible for actions of a professional driver (e.g. time traces for brake, accelerator and steering wheel) on a race track part with RH corner. Purpose-built, high fidelity, multibody vehicle model (called ‘miMa’) is described by 30 generalised coordinates and 440 parameters, crucial in motorsport. Focus is put on modelling of the tyre tread thermodynamics and its influence on race vehicle dynamics. Numerical example considers a Rear Wheel Drive BMW E36 prepared for track day events. In order to improve the section lap time (by 5%) and corner exit velocity (by 4%) a few different driving strategies are found depending on thermal conditions of semi-slick tyres. The process of the race driver adaptation to initially cold or hot tyres is explained.  相似文献

This study investigates the effects of various factors on highway drivers' speeding behaviour and estimates the amount of money that a highway driver is willing to pay for speeding violations in Taiwan. The contingent valuation method is applied to measure drivers' preference and to derive the value function of the amount of money. Logit and probit models are estimated to analyse the significant variables influencing speeding behaviour and to calculate the willingness to pay for speeding violations. The research results show that increasing speeding fines is an effective way to reduce illegal driving behaviour on highways. Significant variables affecting highway drivers' speeding behaviour include gender, engine capacity, past offenders in the previous year, and the risk‐seeking characteristics of drivers. Finally, the logit and probit models show that the amounts of money that highway drivers are willing to pay for speeding violations are $US119 and $US116, respectively. 基于流量速度图对Wiedemann74模型参数标定的宏观方法进行了研究,建立了集成VISSIM、Matlab、ExcelVBA的参数标定平台,以最小化流量速度图的实测值与仿真值的差异为优化目标,应用图像识别方法判剐图像的差异性,利用遗传算法优化参数值,实现了参数自动寻优的迭代过程.建立的参数标定平台能够利用流量、速度等宏观运行数据标定驾驶行为阈值参数,为利用检测器数据实现自动化标定提供了有效手段,为分析驾驶行为特点提供了方法,解决了VISSIM软件中默认参数不适合我国交通状况导致仿真精度不高的问题.利用路侧激光检测器采集长沙市南二环路断面交通数据,根据标定后的参数、实测数据对Wiedemann模型的驾驶行为阈值曲线进行了拟合,根据驾驶行为分区对长沙市南二环路的驾驶行为进行了分析.  相似文献

计算机生成兵力(CGF)实体的智能性直接决定着仿真效果,也是仿真系统研制的瓶颈问题。针对以上问题,根据CGF实体智能程度的仿真设计需求,提出了一种行为推理过程的层次结构模型,利用贝叶斯网络推理方法建立CGF实体的行为推理模型,并对行为推理模型进行了模块化,封装成插件。仿真实体功能得到了扩展,提升了仿真效果,满足作战仿真的需求。  相似文献

The additional pile responses due to the rheological behavior of the soil in the construction and operation periods of tunnelling are disadvantageous to the safety of the pile. However, among the current studies concerning with the rheological behavior of soft soil, the pile responses induced by the long-term settlement of 3D soil are seldom investigated. This paper mainly utilizes the finite difference software FLAC to discuss the pile response during excavation and operation periods considering rheological behavior of soft soil based on twostage analysis method. At the first stage, the displacement controlled method (DCM) is applied to simulate the short-time movement of soil during excavation period, the simulation results such as the shape of trough, pile responses such as pile deflection, settlement, axial force and bending moment are compared with the results of existing studies, and the numerical model is verified to be acceptable. At the second stage, the rheological behavior of soft soil is considered to estimate the long-term settlement of soil, the additional pile response is analyzed based on the CVISC model. Then, the influences of the four rheological mechanical parameters on the long-term soil settlement and pile responses are discussed and a fitting equation is proposed to estimate the long-term settlement of soil during the operation period. © 2018, Editorial Office of "Modern Tunnelling Technology". The family of macroscopic node models which comply to a set of basic requirements is presented and analysed. Such models are required in macro-, mesoscopic traffic flow models, including dynamic network loading models for dynamic traffic assignment. Based on the behaviour of drivers approaching and passing through intersections, the model family is presented. The headway and the turn delay of vehicles are key variables. Having demand and supply as input creates a natural connection to macroscopic link models. Properties like the invariance principle and the conservation of turning fractions are satisfied. The inherent non-uniqueness is analysed by providing the complete set of feasible solutions. The node models proposed by Tampère et al. (2011), Flötteröd and Rohde (2011) and Gibb (2011) are members of the family. Furthermore, two new models are added to the family. Solution methods for all family members are presented, as well as a qualitative and quantitative comparison. Finally, an outlook for the future development of empirically verified models is given.  相似文献
