It has been 15 years since the first generation of adaptive cruise control (ACC)-equipped vehicles was available on the market and 7 years since the ISO standard for the first generation of ACC systems was produced. Since the next generation of ACC systems and more advanced driver-assistant systems are at the verge of complete introduction and deployment, it is necessary to summarise the development and research achievements of the first generation of ACC systems in order to provide more useful experiential guidance for the new deployment. From multidimensional perspectives, this paper looks into the related development and research achievements to objectively and comprehensively introduce an ACC system to researchers, automakers, governments and consumers. It attempts to simply explain what an ACC system is and how it operates from a systematic perspective. Then, it clearly draws a broad historical picture of ACC development by splitting the entire history into three different phases. Finally, the most significant research findings-related ACC systems have been reviewed and summarised from the human, traffic and social perspectives respectively. 相似文献

This paper describes a methodology for validating online dynamic O–D matrix estimation models using loop detector data in large-scale transportation networks. The simulation procedure focuses on travel aspects related to the collective trip structure of users, including the amount and duration of trips between O–D pairs, trip departure rates, average travel time from each origin and combinations of them. The analysis identifies emerging systematic patterns between these factors and issues related to the model performance, including network scale effects. This procedure aims to enhance the usage of prior O–D information based on, e.g. travel surveys, that are typically used in the estimation process. Moreover, it seeks to integrate the validation of dynamic O–D matrix estimation models with strategies for identifying target population groups for online planning and assessment of real-time travel information services within the context of Advanced Traveler Information Systems (ATIS). 相似文献

双模式TBM是单护盾TBM与土压平衡EPB盾构机的优化组合,拥有针对不同围岩状态的两种掘进模式,对地质范围的适应性更大。在煤矿斜井深埋复杂地层条件下,由于地质因素、TBM掘进参数控制不当等原因,易导致围岩坍塌。对此提出在TBM掘进前、掘进过程中不同阶段防治坍塌控制方法,即采用超前地质预报、超前加固预处理和掘进参数监测与控制措施,有效防止了TBM围岩坍塌现象。 相似文献

Current research on advanced vehicle control systems (AVCS) emphasizes the regulation of individual vehicles from a vehicle-level point of view. To improve the roadway operational efficiency, however, it is necessary to coordinate the operations of the vehicles on the highway. In this paper, a highway-level control algorithm is proposed which optimizes the traffic flow from a system-level viewpoint. The highway is divided into cells. The density and average speed of vehicles in these cells are assumed to be measured in real-time. Desired vehicle acceleration and lane change commands are assumed to be transmitted through communication devices to the vehicles, which optimize the traffic flow over the whole highway section. The system-wide traffic is optimized by using the downstream traffic status as the “preview” information for upstream traffic regulation.
