研究车辆在怠速工况下的发动机舱热空气回流问题,基于OpenFOAM 软件进行回流计算方法的开发。通过设置监控面及组分转换面来重新定义格栅新空气和舱内回流热空气等组分,可直接计算出回流在监控面上的分布及回流率和回流量。根据开发的方法对某款插电式混合动力汽车(Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle,PHEV)车型进行计算并提出不同的优化方案,使其发动机舱回流率从32.7% 分别降低至24.0%和9.3%,回流量从0.169 kg/s分别降低至0.128 kg/s和0.048 kg/s,从而降低了冷凝器等散热器的进风温度,提高了怠速工况下热管理系统的性能。  相似文献

The prediction of a ship's resistance especially the viscous wave-making resistance is an important issue in CFD applications. In this paper, the resistances of six ships from hull 1 to hull 6 with different hull forms advancing in still water are numerically studied using the solver naoe-FOAM-SJTU, which was developed based on the open source code package OpenFOAM. Different components of the resistances are computed and compared while considering two speed conditions(12 kn and 16 kn). The resistance of hull 3 is the smallest while that of hull 5 is the largest at the same speed. The results show hull 3 is a good reference for the design of similar ships, which can provide some valuable guidelines for hull form optimization.  相似文献

The paper addresses different uncertainty analysis methods commonly used for uncertainty quantification in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) studies and compares a constant Courant–Friedrichs–Lewy (CFL) number based approach for uncertainty estimation to the ITTC recommended grid and time-independent procedures. Four different uncertainty estimation procedures are presented and discussed. To compare their performance and better understand CFD related uncertainty quantification in wave load simulations on offshore structures, the methods are applied to a case study of the wave loads on a fixed vertical cylinder. The numerical or CFD wave tank is generated using the open-source CFD toolkit OpenFOAM. Uncertainty is assessed for the case study using four different uncertainty estimation procedures for verification and later, validation is attempted by comparing the CFD results with experiments. The study concludes that a constant CFL number based uncertainty study provides more stable results and is better suited for uncertainty estimation in CFD than the ITTC recommended individual grid and time step uncertainty study.  相似文献

本文选择某一全回转吊舱推进器为研究对象,运用任意网格面元法(AMI)CFD数值计算方法,计算采用的开源数值计算软件OpenFoam对全回转推进器非定常敞水水动力性能进行了研究分析.控制方程离散采用有限体积法,湍流模型选取SSTκ-ω 模型,速度压力耦合采用PIMPLE算法求解.通过与试验结果比较,验证了基于OpenFoam的非定常数值计算方法在全回转推进器敞水性能预报的可靠性和有效性.  相似文献

基于OpenFOAM平台对雷诺数3900下的三维固定圆柱绕流和雷诺数30000下的三维圆柱受迫振动进行数值模拟,对湍流的模拟采用SA-DDES离散涡模型.针对三维圆柱绕流问题,采用PISO算法耦合求解速度-压力场,对圆柱绕流的基础参数如St数、平均阻力系数和平均升力系数等与试验进行了比较,结果吻合良好.针对三维圆柱受迫振动问题,采用PIMPLE算法耦合求解速度-压力场,对不同频率下振幅比为0.3的阻力系数、尾涡形态进行了计算,阻力平均系数与实验值相比吻合较好.  相似文献

论文基于粘性不可压缩流体的 N‐S 方程,采用开源 CFD 代码 OpenFOAM 建立了二维数值波浪水槽,并对水槽的造波效果进行了验证。结果表明:采用 OpenFOAM 能够方便建立符合设计要求的数值波浪水槽;数值水槽能够产生试验所需的规则波动;水槽消波区域作用良好,能够消除反射波对自由波动区域的影响。  相似文献

The numerical simulation of wake and flee-surface flow around ships is a complex topic that involves multiple tasks: the generation of an optimal computational grid and the development of numerical algorithms capable to predict the flow field around a hull. In this paper, a numerical framework is developed aimed at high-resolution CFD simulations of turbulent, free-surface flows around ship hulls. The framework consists in the concatenation of "tools", partly available in the open-source finite volume library OpenFOAM. A novel, flexible mesh-generation algorithm is presented, capable of producing high-quality computational grids for free-surface ship hydrodynamics. The numerical frame work is used to solve some benchmark problems, providing results that are in excellent agreement with the experimental measures.  相似文献

基于计算流体动力学开源程序OpenFOAM,通过在质量守恒方程中添加质量源来实现域内源造波,结合VOF法捕捉自由表面,并采用阻尼消波,建立了二维无反射数值波浪水槽。算例结果表明,所建立的二维无反射数值波浪水槽可以较好地模拟行进波和立波,并且能够较好地避免边界反射及二次反射。  相似文献
