随着生产资料和人力成本的不断压缩,控制物流成本成为企业多元化,规模化经营的必争之地.因此,物流企业的市场空间正在不断增大,尤其是在经济呈现持续上行趋势的发展中国家.为了从理论上了解物流企业的生存和发展之道,本文选取了美国联合包裹公司（UPS）这一国际物流巨头进行分析,从外到内分析了当前物流企业的宏观环境和具体运作模式,并对物流企业的发展提出了看法和建议.

Discussion on the Operational Management of Logistics Enterprises：an UPS （United Parcel Service） Study Case

As the continuously compression of producing material and human resource, limiting the lo- gistical cost has been a crucial part of the diversification and large-scaled operation of a logistics enter- prise＇s business scope. Therefore, the market for logistics enterprises is gradually growing, which can be found particularly in developing countries. In order to understand the way how a logistics enter- prise survives and develops in theory, this paper chooses the UPS, one of the largest logistics enter- prise in the world to do the case study, analyzes the macroscopic environment and detailed operation mode of the current logistics enterprise both internally and externally, and presents the view and sug- gestion for its future development in order to provide a reference for domestic similar companies.
