摘    要:MTU2000/4000推进柴油机主要应用于高速船,但不少轮机设计人员对这两型柴油机的特点了解并不充分,因此在轮机设计中也无法充分利用这些特点。该文针对MTU2000/4000推进柴油机机型的特点,结合作者多年的工作经验和体会,开展机型选择、功率的标定和使用、发动机特性曲线和螺旋桨设计点的选择、散热量和安装等方面的总结,对于轮机设计人员有一定的参考价值。

Abstract:MTU2000/4000 diesel engines are mainly used for high speed ships.However,many designers cannot take full advantages of the characteristics of the MTU 2000/4000 diesel engines in the design due to the insufficient understanding of these characteristics.This paper summarizes the characteristics of the MTU 2000/4000 diesel engine based on author’s many years of work experience,including the type selection,the power calibration and usage,the selection of the engine characteristic curve as well as the design point,heat dissipation and installation of the propeller.It provides reference for the engine designers.
