| Abstract: | Slip-form construction is widely applied for it is fast, economical and especially suitable to high pier construction. On the basis of analyzing engineering examples, the constitution and working mechanism of slip-form system are elaborated. The technology of slip-form construction of high bridge pier is explained, and the items to be careful about in designing slip-form and pouring up concrete are indicated. |
