| Abstract: | This paper states the figures of the special types of steel wire ropes such as the eight-strand, tight strand and plastic-filled ropes, and describes their developments. Meanwhile it discusses some technologies for the choice of the rope's structure, the lubrication and the testing for the deposing threshold that the users of ropes in ports concern to. |
