TIn the international maritime judicial practice,the detention of ships is a very important method to guarantee the debtor to fulfill the obligation.The characteristics and the way to achievement of detention of ship systems are different between the two legal systems.If it comes to the detention of flag of convenience ships,the situation will became more complex.Because the flag of convenience ship is involved in the complex relationships between several parties,such as the registered owner,the actual owner and the operator of ships.And it forms several defferent management modes of flag of convenience ships.This situation brings lots of difficulty for the maritime complaints to apply the detention of flag of convenience ships.This article analyses the different attitudes to the detention of ships between the two legal systems and several different management modes of flag of convenience ships.And in order to protect the legal rights of maritime claiments,the article analyses the availability and methods for maritime claiments to apply for detention of flag of convenience ships.
