The Dynamic and Static Characteristic Testing and Analysis of the Multi-purpose Commercial Vehicle BIW

Static and dynamic characteristic tests were made to a multi-purpose commercial vehicle BIW.By analyzing static characteristic test results,we know that body bending stiffness curve is basically smooth,body parts undergo small deformation,its parameters can be used as reference for new vehicle design;body has intermediate torsional stiffness value,which needs to be improved in new vehicle development.By analyzing dynamic characteristic test results,we know that the vehicle has high integral modal value,with reasonable distribution,indicating that it has fairly good low-order dynamic characteristic,but attention shall be paid to adaptation with powertrain to avoid excessive vibration.
