| Abstract: | This paper describes the design features and key technology of the retrofit engineering of 4000dwt class bulk liquid asphalt carrier of COSCO, discusses the main problems including its equipment selection, retrofit process, quality control retrofit time schedule and action plan, provides analysis of the development of retrofit technology, and proposes some viewpoints and recommendations for design of a new asphalt carrier. |
