Technical Study of Highway Smoothness Treatment in Subsiding Sections

With different lateral through fractures accompanying different subsidence degrees taken into account,a theoretical method on how to determine the slot width in treated road sections is put forward in the paper according two different conditions,and it is also suggested that the quantized value of gradient algebraic difference should be included into the highway engineering specifications,which will contribute to highway construction and improving driving safety,riding comfortness and economical efficiency.
