Abstract:The pylons of the 3rd Nanjing Changjiang River Bridge are of inverted Y-shape curved steel pylons 215 m in height. In the manufacturing of the pylons, strict precision management was implemented and very good manufacturing and installation precisions were achieved. In this paper, the methods and techniques for the precision management of the pylons are briefly presented.
