Taken a jack-up drilling rig JU2000E as an example, the structural strength of its windlass foundation is analyzed. The mooring system is introduced, the finite element modeling of windlass foundation is conducted, and the strength calculation results analysis and specification check of windlass foundation are conducted, which can provide reference for the subsequent structural strengthening and optimization design of jack-up drilling rig.
