摘    要:为了有效控制排放污染,现代汽车普遍加装了废气三元催化转化器。文章从5个方面介绍了催化转化器失效的原因及相应措施,阐述了催化转化器的故障诊断。表明由于使用燃料不当、可燃混合气浓度偏高、点火过迟、烧机油及机械碰撞等因素均可造成其工作性能下降,甚至失效,加剧汽车的排放污染,影响发动机的正常运转。指出在使用车辆时,必须采取必要的防范措施并按照正确的方法加强对其工作性能的检测,才能有效发挥净化尾气功效。

Abstract:In order to curb emission pollution effectively, three-way catalytic converter is equipped on modern vehicles at large. This paper introduces the failure reasons of the catalytic converter, counter measures in five aspects and expounds the failure diagnosis of it. It shows that the working of three-way catalytic converter may be affected; even worse emission pollution can be caused due to incorrect fuel, a higher burning mixed strength, delayed ignition of oil burnt and mechanical collision and the working of engine may be impeded. This paper points out that we must adopt necessary precautions and reinforce the examination of the performances of the catalytic converter according to the correct methods. Only in this way, the functions of three-way catalytic converter could be brought into full play to purify tail gas.
