| Abstract: | By expatiating on the material property, design index, design supposition and principle as well as calculation method of bending resistance and shear strength of aramid fibre, which is a new composite fibre material, the broad application prospect of this material in bridge strengthening engineering can be forecasted. The bridge designers should acquaint themselves with the property and design principle of this material, so as to make preparations for the design of bridge strengthening in future. |
