On the Role and Countermeasures of Education in the Construction of the Harmonious Society in Gansu

The current situation and problem of education in Gansu are thoroughly analyzed from the natural and economic situations of Gansu,making use of a series data of higher education in and out of the province in recent years.Meanwhile,the role of the education on the construction of a harmonious society is illustrated.Then the countermeasures to realize fair education and construct harmonious Gansu are discussed.Finally,some solutions are presented,such as the education should be in close connection with the local development and constantly improve itself.The education must keep a healthy,fair and upward cultural and educational mode to promote economic development and build a harmonious society.
