| Abstract: | On January 7, 2004, Premier Wen Jiabao presided over the State Council Executive Meeting, which discussed and approved in principle the Medium and Long-term Railway Network Plan. On April 26, 2005, Mr. Wang Lequan, the CPC Central Committee Political Administration member and the Secretary of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the Secretary and Chairman of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and Mr. Liu Zhijun, the Secretary and Minister of the Party Group of the Ministry of Railways, held talks in Xinjiang Railway construction plan. |
