Human Resources Development under the Boom of Urban Mass Transit

With the rapid development of urban mass transit(UMT),higher standards of the training program are set for the staff in UMT industry.This paper discusses how to develop the human resources in the present situation of UMT.Firstly,the paper stresses the importance of staff training and the innovation in designing the training system;secondly,integrated with the training practice in Shanghai Metro Operation Co.Ltd.,this paper analyzes the characteristics of the human resources development at present,argues that the training itself should be fast and efficient with high quality;the new training methods should be developed and employed;contents of the training should be in accordance with the development of techniques in UMT.Finally,some theoretical conclusions are put forward on the training in UMT industry.
