十类线裁剪算法及其性能分析

摘    要:本文将计算机图形显示中的线裁剪算法共十四种分为十类,它基本上囊括了国内外曾使用过的算法;简要地描述各种算法的内容;分析这些算法的性能;编写了相应程序以检测它们的执行速度。结果表明:分区编码算法(c)和化二维为一维的线裁剪算法的执行速度较快。本文对线裁剪算法做了全面而客观的评价,为在图形系统的研制中线裁剪算法的选用提供了依据。

Abstract:Fourteen algorithms of line clipping presented nowadays in computer graphics display are comprehensively evaluated and sorted into ten types, with their contents concisely described, and their characters analysed. The implement speed of all the algorithms are detected through programming practice, showing that division coding algorithm (c) and the algorithm of turning two-dimension into one-dimension have faster implement speed. The paper can be treated as a basis for the selection of line clipping algorithm under the development of graphios system.
