| Abstract: | This paper introduces some design characteristics for a new generation of car/pas- senger ferry used on mouth of Yangtze river. They are:asymmetrical twin- skeg ship form with marked energy- save effect,a novel profile to be full of personality and decorating design in cabins,which are economical and practical and reflect the flavour of the times. |
