合作原则在外贸函电翻译中的运用

文章从外贸函电的特点出发,以具体实例探讨合作原则中的四个准则在外贸函电翻译中的运用问题。笔者认为,英语和汉语属不同语系,它们在语法规则、表达方式、语言习惯和修辞手段等方面均有较大差异,给外贸英语函电翻译增加了难度。文中阐述的合作原则中的四个准则对外贸英语函电翻译有指导作用。

Application of Cooperative Principle in the Translation of Business Coorrespondence

This paper,based on the characteristics of business correspondence,attempts to illustrate the application of Cooperative Principle in the translation of business correspondence with some concrete examples.It argues that English and Chinese belong to different language systems of their own,with the great differences in grammatical rules,expressions and rhetorical devices and so on,which makes the translation more and more difficult.The four maxims of Cooperative Principle are instructive to the translation of business correspondence.
