| Abstract: | Cylinder shells play a critical role in submarine, airplane, rocket, as well as rail transportation. Great efforts that have be made to research and control the vibration and noise of cylinder shell bring about enormous military, political and economic benefits. This paper analyzed and concluded the historical and latest work on cylinder shells, and predicted the developing trend reasonably. |
