Study on the Causes and Policies of Traffic Congestion and Air Pollution in Xi'an

In recent years,the problems of traffic congestion and air pollution in Xi'an has been prominent.The purpose of this paper is to analyze the current situation,causes and the effect of the current policy.In terms of improving congestion and air pollution,the traffic restriction policy has a significant effect in the short term,and coal-fired treatment has significantly improved the air quality.In the long run,the positive effect will gradually disappear with the increase of the number of motor vehicles.This paper will be helpful for the government to further study the long-term policy of congestion and haze.
