等温淬火球墨铸铁在汽车上的应用

ADI and its Application Used in Automobile

Thanks to its good comprehensive mechanical properties, high fatigue strength, good friction and wear characteristics, Austempered Ductile Iron（ADI）has been widely used in Automotive manufacturing. The advantages of ADI and the characteristics of ADI production characteristics is introduced. It is pointed out that the key of producing good quality ADI is compact and even structure, good spheroidization, a large amount of graphite, reasonable chemical composition, low segregation of elements, correct parameters for heat treatment and well-controlled cooling condition for quenching. And the application of ADI in the automotive parts at home and abroad is summarized.
