| Abstract: | A section（K16＋500-K17＋900） of Xibaipo Road passes Gangnan Reservoir. Through analyzing engineering geology and hydrology condition, the road adopts soaking embankment appropriately. The paper briefly introduces soaking embankment from the view of design and construction, which can provide reference for similar project. |
