Brief Approach to Corridor Bridge Design

The ancient corridor bridge of China is the treasure of bridge construction technology and art. In the recent years, because of the need of the function and the building landscape environment, various types and styles of corridor bridges in the whole Chine, many built corridor bridges have become a distinctive scenic line in the local locations, therefore, more and more science people pays attention to the study and design of corridor bridges. The paper mainly approaches in some aspects such as the basic function, type characteristics, the relation between corridor and bridge, the characteristics of the modern corridor bridges and example analysis etc.
