| Abstract: | Firstly the concept and features of fourth-generation port is indicated, then the advantages of Xiamen Port is analyzed in the situation of Xiamen Port facing both opportunities and challenges, which can be made good use of for developing and constructing fourth-generation port. Finally the existing problems and suggestions are discussed from the aspects of container transport capability, infrastructure construction, service functions and economic hinterland of Xiamen Port. |
