| 摘 要： | 从词法和句法两个方面分析法律英语的文体特点,主要是专业术语、外来语和正式词语的使用;长句复杂句、被动句的使用等。并结合《中华人民共和国海事诉讼特别程序法》探讨了海事法律文献汉译英的翻译标准和方法,力求达到法律文献的准确翻译,维护法律的权威性和公正性。

| Abstract: | The stylistic features of law English are analyzed from the lexical and syntactic aspects,mainly including the use of legal terms,loanwords and formal words,the long and complex sentences as well as the passive voice. Based on the Special Maritime Procedure Law of the People＇s Republic of China,the translation standard and skills techniques of maritime law documents from Chinese to English are discussed with respective examples,for the purpose of achieving the accurate and appropriate translation of law documents,maintaining the authority and justice of law. |
