Highway is a geotechnical structure,the maximum features focuses on the dependency of geographic environment and the adaptability to be suitable for the environment after completion of roads.The aim of three-class natural zoning work in Inner Mongolia is to reflect properly the differences between local places according to the full realization and research on the natural conditions and natural laws,on the basis of knowing the zoning theory and methods.This article describes the features of geographical environment within the small areas,thus providing a basis for the design of subgrade and pavements.
