Measures of Concrete Construction in Winter

A brief analysis is made on the characteristics and the difficulties of concrete construction in winter. By taking into consideration of the practice in the Shenyang- Zhangwu Highway construction works, the paper discusses on the classification of concrete for winter construction, use of raw materials, mix design, construction technology, mixing plant and insulation measures for raw materials, as well as concrete construction quality assurance measures in winter.
