| Abstract: | The size of modern container ship is getting bigger and bigger,which asks for higher safety request to ship's officer and pilot and challenges them.This paper states the maneuvering characteristics,analyzes the influence of wind and current on the super-huge container ship.It introduces the maneuvering of berthing and departing of the super-huge container ship,especially as the ship is in the current and strong wind,and introduces a few experience as well. |
