中国铁路首次开行卧铺动车组

2008年12月21日0时，中国铁路开始实施新的列车运行图。新图实施第一天，新旧图平稳有序过渡，列车安全正点运行。这次调图的一大亮点是增开卧铺动车组列车。中国自主开发的卧铺动车组列车将有3对在这次调图中使用，分别是北京至上海的D301／302次、D305／306次，北京至杭州的D309／310次。21日晚，3趟首发卧铺动车组列车正点发车。这些列车的开行不仅适应了京沪、京杭间旅客长途旅行的需要，还为旅客提供了更加舒适的服务和更加便捷的选择。此外，它的开行还将彻底改变中国铁路没有卧铺动车组的历史，并开启铁路在动车组上推出“服务超越航空”的服务提升计划。
