| Abstract: | The construction conditions of the south channel bridge of Hangzhou Bay Sea-Crossing Bridge are harsh,and the construction of the boring platforms for foundations of the bridge is therefore challenging.In this paper,the design considerations for the boring platforms for construction of the pylon foundations of the bridge are presented,and the construction technology used with movable and cantilever guiding framework for lowering bored pile steel casings down to river is described as well. |
