Causes Analysis of Burnt-out Telecom and Signal Equipment in Harbin-Dalian Railway and Its Countermeasures

Harbin-Dalian electrified railway has been put into operation since 2001. There were several faults about signal equipments in the traction power supply system due to other factors in this period. Not only the equipments of traction power supply and signaling system were damaged, but also the traffic system was seriously disturbed which has made a huge economic loss for our country. In order to accumulating experience and drawing lessons from the damages, this paper analyses the reasons for the damage of the equipments of signal which has been caused by the traction power supply faults, and puts forward the solving measures for this problem.
