Several considerations on the design of planing boat |

| Abstract: | In this paper, the resistance and its calculation of planing boat is introduced.A simple and effective calculation method is put forward. The influence of various parameters of planing boat on rapidity and navigability is also analyzed. Finally, a brief analysis is held on the design of a 6.3 m planing boat. |
