Technology and economical analysis of pier girder segment in concrete continuous beam

This article introduces development of pre -stressed concrete continuous bridge, construction methodology of pier girder segment, and design variation of pier girder segment. Taking a bridge project of Wuhan - Guangzhou Passenger Railway Line as example, the author looks into rate composition of pier girder segment and works out cost estimation of pier - and - girder segment construction, furthermore, this article also draws out preliminary law of cost fluctuation. This economic index analysis method based on construction methodology, may provide some help in controlling and determining project cost at various eonstruction stages.
