| Abstract: | Case-based design (CBD) is the application of case-based reasoning (CBR) to design process. By analyzing the general process of CBR, the barriers to intelligence in current CAD system and comparing the design process of stamping die to CBR, this paper illustrates that the CBD system is reasonable for support stamping die intelligent design. The paper also discusses the fundamental techniques of CBD methodology used in stamping die CAD system. |
