| Abstract: | As an important method of underground excavation of urban utility tunnel, the shield method faces more and more complex construction site conditions with the deepening of urbanization. Through the construction essentials, difficulties and countermeasures of Xincheng Road Utility Tunnel Project, the applicability of earth pressure balance shield machine in deep soft soil layer and various field working conditions in the Pearl River Delta is demonstrated, which can provide the reference for similar projects. |
