基于视频图像的车速检测研究

基于视频图像计算车速的方法进行相关图像处理、运动目标特征点提取、摄像机标定、车速计算、误差分析等,并分析其应用条件。最后运用matlab软件编程得到一个可操作界面,具有较强的实用性。该方法能检测到车辆碰撞前后的真实车速,为交通事故鉴定提供依据。

Research on Vehicle Speed Detection Based on Video Images

On the basis of video images,this paper presents an algorithm of vehicle speed to deal with the related image processing,moving target feature point extraction,camera calibration,speed calculation,error analysis and then analyzes its application conditions. Finally,the Matlab software is used to obtain an operational interface with a better practicability. This method can be used to detect the real vehicle speed before or after the collision and provide the evidence for the traffic accident evaluation.
