| Abstract: | The application status of ship navigation simulation in the waterway engineering was reviewed in this paper.The effects of different natural conditions on ship navigation and the interaction between the ships were discussed.The software Dynasim was also introduced.Using this software,the tracks under different conditions of wind,wave,current and ship loading as well were simulated for the assessment of ship navigation safety in southern China.Furthermore,the influences between two ships in overtaking and head-on situation were discussed.According to the numerical experiments of the ship navigation,the guidance function of ship navigation numerical simulators in waterway engineering design and management and ship maneuvering as well was illustrated. |
