Research on optimization of grade combination of compound channel for coastal port

It was proposed to improve the waterway transit capacity through the construction of compound channel for the coastal port.Optimization objectives were created after analyzing the prerequisites for expansion of vice channel and factors affecting combinatorial optimization results.On this basis,the detailed sub-goals and specific optimization steps were given out.In this paper,an optimization method of grade combination of compound channel was proposed for coastal port.A coastal container port was taken for example to demonstrate the feasibility of the optimization method,providing a theoretical basis for fairway planning.
