| Abstract: | Considering the nonlinearity of damping and righting moment,this paper studied the equivalent linearization of the nonlinear rolling equation of ship in the regular transverse wave by applying the energy method,the expression of the equivalent linearization coefficient is derived,and its engineering practicability is checked,which provide the theoretical analysis and calculation model for the prediction of ship nonlinear roll motion. |
