Sustainable Transportation Development Planning in High Developing Area： A Case Study in Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cooperation Zone

In order to reduce or avoid the traffic congestion problem potentially caused by high-intensity development in the future, it is necessary to clearly define transportation development patterns at the early stage of the planning. Taking Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cooperation Zone in Shenzhen City as an example, this paper analyzes the key issues of urban and regional centers development; define the goal-oriented reasonable scale of the various transportation modes; explores feasible policies; and establishes the appro- priate transportation system plan that can be fed back to the transportation infrastructure at urban and regional centers. Finally, the paper shows how to use the Logit model to study travel impact factor and to put forward safeguard mea- sures from planning, policy and investment aspects.
