| Abstract: | In the flood season in 2002 Wuhan City located at confluence of the middle reaches of the Changjiang River, Hanjiang River and the Changjiang River was influenced by the flood from the Changjiang River, so the level up and down three times and the embankment protection had stood the test from high flood lash for half a month after the year 1999. To analyze the occurrence, development course of flood season water condition and flood characteristics in Wuhan area in 2002 is very necessary to understand flood of the Changjiang River and to analyze the flood conditions in 2002. |
