There are many risks existing in the lifecycle of bridges.In order to know and eorrectly evaluate these risks,the article briefly sums up the methods and development of bridge risk evalua- tion now:firstly,the disasters occurring on bridges are illustrated,and various possible risks in every lifecycle of bridges are discussed,then introduces the development situation of bridge risk evaluation at home and abroad now,sums up the present method evaluating the bridge risks,and finally looks forward to the development direction of bridge risk evaluation.
