Rapid Localization Development of BUICK - Regal Car and Its Key Technologies

Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center, taking medium/high end product as a breakthrough point, has been focusing on the study and development on the key technologies of 5 aspects, including market analysis and localization product definition, 2nd time development on product platform, flexible assembly line for multiple platform production and simultaneous launch, digital design, testing and analysis, global synergy in product development process. PATAC has developed a complete set of rapid independent development with IP ownership system, expertise and management mechanism for medium/high end car localization, which has been successfully applied in the development of Regal cars. The practice has generated significant benefit both economically and socially, and has enabled joint ventures to develop a new approach on their march towards self-development.
